Hospital Director:

Dr. Robert Miller
Dr. Miller, our hospital director, opened the hospital in the fall of 1974. While he is gratified by and takes pleasure in many long-term relationships, he recognizes our ever-changing client base and welcomes new clients. He feels that our friendly staff and the compassionate care of our professionals has resulted in both practice growth and maturity.

Dr. Victoria Cracas
An employee since 2002
Dr. Cracas is from Montclair NJ and a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University Veterinary School (MSU). Before attending veterinary school, she earned a B.A. from the University of Vermont in Economics and Soviet Studies with a minor in Russian Language. After graduation from MSU, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at North Carolina State School of Veterinary Medicine. Following her internship she taught surgery at the Veterinary School at Texas A&M University. When asked about her future aspirations, she said that she would like to see her kids grow up happy and healthy.

Dr. Lisa M. Walsh
An employee since 2005
A graduate of Kansas State University (Class of 2001), Dr. Walsh moved here from Tinley Park, Illinois, with her husband. Dr. Walsh loves meeting clients and patients and looks forward to getting to know all of you. |

Dr. Micaela Shaughnessy, V.M.D
Dr. Shaughnessy is originally from Hamburg, Germany. She studied at the University of Pennsylvania and there received her V.M.D. Dr. Shaughnessy loves the flexibility her job offers her and loves spending time raising her two daughters. Her favorite part about working at Reston Animal Hospital is working directly with the pets and the people who own them.

Dr. Alesia Gosnell
An employee since 1999
Dr. Gosnell has been on our staff since the beginning of 1999. She graduated in 1996 from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband, Jim, have two sons (Logan and Garrett), a dog (Kussen). Dr. Gosnell likes skiing, boating, going to the beach, and Virginia Tech football games.

Dawn Sherwood, Hospital Manager
An employee since 1999
Dawn has been working at Reston Animal Hospital since 1999. Dawn has an extensive background in the veterinary technician field, having worked in Virginia, Texas and Chicago. Always active, Dawn's hobbies include weight training, running, and scuba diving. Currently her favorite past time is training her golden retriever "Bryce." |

Andrew Hocker, Head Receptionist
An employee since August 2006
Andrew is from Chantilly, VA, and is Reston Animal Hospital's head receptionist. He's working towards a BBA and hopes to pursue an MBA from Georgetown. Andrew loves the variety of challenges working at an animal hospital can provide. |

Formerly a kennel assistant, Cole has been with us since August of last year. |

Alix Badley, Head Assistant
An employee since 2003
From Reston, VA, Alix loves being involved with patient care, especially with geriatric pets. She hopes to attend art school, become an art teacher, and perhaps have an animal rescue.

Marc is from Burke, VA. He has completed some college and is working towards finishing his degree in communications at George Mason University. Marc loves interacting with animals and finds helping animals with their health and well-being satisfying. |

Michelle Pullen An employee since September 2007
Michelle is originally from Charlottesville but now lives in Manassas. She has an advanced high school diploma from Albemarle High School. Michelle loves working in surgery, but her number one priority is patient care. She looks forward to starting her own family and would like to become a licensed veterinary technician, and own her own farm. |

Andrea Blood An employee since August 2007
Being raised in a military family, Andrea calls everywhere home. A graduate of Potomac High School, Andrea wants to open an animal hospital of her own, complete with boarding facilities, day leave, and grooming/spa facilities. |

Vivianne would like to become a licensed veterinary technician, and she's currently in high school. She loves working around animals and is originally from Plattsburgh, New York. |

Maddy is currently in high school. She loves working with her coworkers and learning more and more about the veterinary business every day. She hopes to one day open up her own Pet Resort/Spa, complete with veterinary, boarding, and grooming facilities.
